HI! My name is Richard Barr and I am the owner of the Automaster. I have been in the auto repair business for 30 plus years and I have been providing complete bumper to bumper, high quality auto repair. I have been servicing the Metro area clients since 1993. Back in 1985, I became an ASE Master Technician... and have continued to learn my trade and provide professional, high quality auto repair for every make and model of vehicle ever since. Auto repair is never convenient, but we do our best to repair your vehicle in a timely fashion and keep you well informed every step of the way. At the Automaster we provide Modern, Hi Tech Auto Repair & Old Fashioned Service at a very reasonable price. Not cheap! Cheap means inferior parts and a poor warranty....You can have two of three things, but not all three: 1) Honesty, 2) Cheap, 3) Quality. My Daughter Amanda and I provide honest, friendly customer service, high quality repair work and a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty on parts and labor!
WHAT MAKES A GOOD AUTO REPAIR SHOP
That is the universal question! For most, the important ingredient is fixing the vehicle correctly the first time. Sounds simple enough.... Having the equipment necessary to properly diagnose and repair an issue- lab scopes, logic probes, digital volt-ohm meters, hand held computer scanners and diagnostic software as well as on-line computer systems like AllData or Mitchell-On-Demand are critical to a timely and proper diagnosis. Membership in professional associations like ASE, ASA, ATRA, Napa Car Care, Tech-Net or Certified Auto Repair programs tells you the shop cares about the quality of workmanship and continued training. A clean, orderly shop is a good sign. Accurate estimates, the length of warranty, finishing the vehicle when promisied, offering a ride to work or wherever you need to go.... all important ingredients when considering an auto repair shop....and everything we practice everyday!

Don't trust your $30,000 automobile, which carries your family through life's daily trips, to just anyone. Pick your repair shop like you would your family doctor. And like a doctor, we will inspect your vehicle from front to back and document anything we find. We will take the time to explain in detail what we found, options you may have and help you prioritize. In the long run, this thorough approach saves you not only money, but time and aggravation. Never will a repair be performed without your knowledge or consent!
